Flat Tail
This week's adventure took us up Highway 2 to mile 2476 of the Pacific Crest Trail. Dad'n will spend the next week hiking south, while the official expedition support vehicle reports to the shop for some tire repairs.
Rear window snap-in mosquito net = fabulous - you can even close the tail gate with the netting in place. Additions to the equipment list: - Instant flat fixer [check] - Tire pump - More magnets for the side door mosquito netting - Another Trader Joe's balsamic vinegar bottle for an oil cruet - Magnetic spice cans - More forks - More rags! - REally wanting that table bracket that fits into the jack socket - Flexible (canvas?) hose - Quart jar for mixing ping-pake batter - egg carton - side step/storage bin - storage bins that tie down in the roof rack and are accessible from the pop top ?
Tacoma - Steven's Pass August 23-25 Sunny, Rainy, Buggy
-Wiring to starter re-attached by MNA - currently no need to park on a hill. -High lift jack works WELL -4 new tires installed -Sink wiring connected; water pump inop
